We can't focus on the what ifs, it's almost time to cross our fingers and leave the harbor. After buying a neglected boat in Mexico, we have spent months fixing it up. Now that we are in the final stages of the "fix", we are coming to terms with the fact that we will actually have to do what we set out to do, cross the first 2,500 nautical miles of open pacific ocean in our journey to sail around the world.
