In an insane, heart-pounding, adrenaline-rushing video from the Magwa Falls gorge in South Africa, daredevils take turns launching themselves off a cliff while making a 600-foot rope swing bungee jump, much to the delight of the locals, who peer over the lip of the cliff to take in the excitement.

Andrew Kirkpatrick and Mike Wilson from Burnt House Productions in Bermuda were commissioned by France-based EpicTV to make four extreme sports videos, and this is Episode 1 of “Never Before, Never Again”:

“I can feel my heart pounding,” one jumper can be heard saying on the video before taking the plunge.

EpicTV described it as “the most insane rope swing bungee jump ever” and “four seconds of pure, hair-raising free fall.”

“Sure, it’s safe,” EpicTV said, “but that doesn’t mean it’s not scary as hell.”

Perhaps not as scary but still exhilarating is how they get back up the cliff—pulled up by a truck.
